Inklusive Nature CIC was founded by Dr Vicky Bowskill, a multi award-winning illustrator, environmental scientist, and storyteller. Vicky collaborates with researchers and project teams to bridge the gap between science and society. Using inclusive creative approaches to foster meaningful engagement, we focus on equitable nature connection, biodiversity loss and the climate crisis. By actively involving underrepresented groups, we seek to amplify impact and inspire informed, transformative action.
Hi, I’m Vicky, founding director of Inklusive Nature CIC, a multi award-winning illustrator, storyteller and environmental scientist. With a PhD in the sustainable management of floodplain meadows for agroecology, I have a passion for connecting research and practice through accessible communication.
Engaging, eye-catching visuals are a key part of effective research communication, helping to build trust and start conversations, capturing hearts and minds. My academic experience includes both natural and social science methods, along with 20 years’ experience engaging various interest groups and publics in local government, third sector and academic settings. I help researchers and changemakers increase engagement with diverse and often underrepresented communities through inclusive visuals for engaged research with impact. And I’d love to work with you! Every project is different so do get in touch if you’d like to explore how we can work together on your community projects.
